1,044,122. Partitions; releasable fastenings. VENESTA MANUFACTURING Ltd. Jan. 27, 1965 [Jan. 28, 1964], No. 3665/64. Headings E1V E2A and E2B. Juxtaposed panels having pairs of grooves 8 in their edges are secured together by pairs of clamping members 11, 12 each of which member is located in a pair of the grooves 8 which are located opposite each other, screw means 13 being provided whereby the members 11, 12 may be caused to grip between them those portions of the two panels defined between the pair of grooves in each panel. The screw 13 is received in a groove 9 transverse to the grooves 8. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown) the clamping members are provided in grooves formed in the mitred edges of a pair of panels disposed at right angles to each other.
