Abstract
1,046,359. Terminal strips. ELHYCO A.G. Dec. 3, 1964 [Feb. 24, 1964], No. 49227/64. Heading H2E. Resilient supports 2 having terminals 5a and 5b embedded in them, are clipped on to a metal rail 1, and may be separated from each other by insulating transverse partitions. 3 or 4, which clip on to bosses 36 on the terminal supports, or clip directly on to the rail, the terminals themselves being separated from each other by a central longitudinal partition 9 having a bulge 96 which is located in recesses 9c or 9d in the transverse partitions. Grooves 23 above the bulge 96 accommodate indication labels. If the terminals 5a of two adjacent supports are to be interconnected a half partition may be provided, the section of the partition 3 shown in dotted lines being omitted. Projections 21 on the partitions engage in recesses 20 on the sup. ports. A clamping member 11 may be provided at each end of the assembly. A cover 14 fits on to end plates 10 and has grooves 15, 16 and 17 for carrying indicating strips, and an asymmetrical lip 18 which co-operates with studs 13 to prevent the lid from being assembled wrongly.
