Abstract
1,061,254. Fluid-pressure servomotor system. TEKNOVA A. S. May 19, 1964 [May 24, 1963], No.20621/64. Heading G3P. A shut-off and pressure regulating valve, e.g. for liquified gas containers, comprises a body (1), Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown), and a main valve closure member (6) having a front face which is urged against an annular seat (5) in the body by a closing spring (16) together with fluid-pressure acting upon a rear face of the member (6), which member (6) is also loaded in its opening direction by fluid-pressure acting upon a front face portion (26) surrounding the valve seat (5), the position of the member (6) is controlled by a pin (19) which is acted upon by a stem (21) carried by a diaphragm (22) responsive to the delivery pressure of the valve through the outlet (27), the pin (19) extending through a bore (20) in the member (6) and engaging a pilot (15) co-operating with a seat (18) on the rear face of the member (6), the valve member (15) being loaded towards its seat by the spring (16) and being housed in a pressure relief chamber (24) formed by the member (6) together with an extension (8) and a co-operating fixed guide member (9) carried by the valve body (1) at (10), the chamber (24) communicating with the valve inlet (2) through at least one throttled passage formed between the main valve member extension (8) and the guide member (9). The valve member (6) and the guide (9) may be connected by bellows in which case a throttled may be formed by a passage connecting a valve chamber (4) with a bore (14) in the member (9).
