1,067,844. Clamps. BRITISH SCREW CO. Ltd. Feb. 5, 1964 [Feb. 27, 1963], No. 7816/63. Heading E2B. [Also in Division F2] A bolt with a threaded end (11), e.g. for bearing a nut (20) and a sealing washer and securing wall- or roof-sheeting (19), has its other end bent in the form of an in-turned hook (12) with a first part (13) (the extremity) parallel to the shank (10) and spaced therefrom to fit closely on a flange (17) on a web (18) of an angle-section metal purlin (14) and a second part (15) perpendicular to the shank (10) and joined to that end of the part (13) which is nearer the threaded bolt-end (11), the part (15) being joined to the shank (10) by a further part (16). The bolt is of high tensile steel and the hook (12) is formed by cold bending.
