Abstract
1,081,478. Sheet delivering apparatus. ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK. Aug. 4, 1965, No. 33319/65. Heading B6H. A drum for delivering sheets from printing machines comprises a pair of discs 2, 6 mounted fast and in spaced relationship on a shaft 12 and provided with a number of holes disposed on a common pitch circle diameter the holes receiving a corresponding number of bars 1 provided with a plurality of sheet contact rollers 4, which are fitted internally with springs 5, Fig. 3 (not shown) to restrain them against rotary or axial displacement. The bars 1 have reduced ends which are received by the holes in the discs and one reduced end is provided with a spring 3, which biases the other reduced end against the relevant disc thereby retaining the bar between the discs. The discs are also provided with a shaft 13 on which are mounted grippers 9, which remove the printed sheet from the impression cylinder 11, Fig. 1 (not shown), and deposit the sheet in conjunction with the -rollers 4 on a delivery table 10.
