Abstract

Compounds of the general formula (wherein R1 and R2 each represent a halogen atom or a trifluoromethyl or nitro group, R3 represents a lower alkyl group, R4 represents a lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl, benzyl, substituted benzyl, C3- 7 cycloalkyl or C3- 7 cycloalkyl-(lower alkyl) group and the broken lines denote optional substituents) are prepared by reacting a compound of the formula (wherein X represents a halogen atom) with R4NH2. The lower alkyl, alkenyl and alkynyl groups each contain up to seven carbon atoms. The compounds of the invention are anticonvulsants and muscle relaxants and may be administered in the form of pharmaceutical preparations containing them, with or without other (unspecified) active ingredients, together with a carrier.
