1,114,728. Spray burners. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. 20 March, 1967, No. 13054/67. Heading F4T. A burner for a gas turbine has a centrally disposed pilot conduit 20 and a fuel chamber 22 communicating via passages 24, an annulus 25 and swirl slots 26 with an annular duct 27 and pilot jet orifice 31 and fuel can also pass through a bore 34 and hole 36 to fill at least part of the annular vortex flow and prevent or reduce the passage of combustion gases upstream through jet orifice 31.
