Abstract
1,246,378. Wall facing. BOSTADSFORSKNING A.B. 5 Dec., 1969 [9 Dec., 1968], No. 59574/69. Heading E1B. An external wall facing comprises overlapping tiles 2 retained by resilient brackets 6 carried by strips 4 secured to a supporting wall 1. The brackets are U-shaped with the base extending across the strip. On positioning of a tile, the web is displaced downwardly and outwardly from the strip and enters a groove in the tile and resiliently presses the tile against the strip. The strips 4 are horizontally spaced so that each bracket carries the end portions of two adjacent tiles. The brackets 6 are vertically spaced so that the tiles overlap.
