1286855 Lightning arresters GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 9 Sept 1969 [16 Sept 1968] 44426/69 Heading H2H A lightning arrester comprises parallel columns of spark gaps and valve resistors, in series with a common valve resistance. Intermediate points in each column are connected by a resistor. The arrangement provides an arrester with a reduced protective level which is suitable for use with D.C. systems.
