Abstract
1306783 Linkwork PAKO CORP 23 April 1971 [9 June 1970] 11083/71 Heading F2K In an apparatus, similar to that described in Specification 1,225,990, comprising a series of rollers 26, 28 for transporting sheet material such as photographic film therebetween, into successive tanks (not shown) for developing the film, in which the rollers 26, 28 are rotatably mounted in side frames 10, 12 and each pair of rollers is driven by the engagement of crank arms 44, 52 carried one on each roller 26, 28 at opposite ends respectively thereof with one of a series of crankpins 50, 54 carried by drive plates 40, 42, the drive plates 40, 42 are connected via cranks 60, 108 and meshing spur gears 84, 82 to a speed reduction gear and electric motor (both not shown) whereby the drive plates 40, 42 are driven by the cranks 60, 108 and caused to move in an orbital path, additional floating cranks 62, 64, 66 being arranged (as shown three each side) between the drive plates 40, 42 and side frames, their cranks being positioned angularly out of phase with each other and the driven cranks 60, 108 to avoid any dead centre conditions.
