Abstract
1318352 Pipe insulation MORGAN REFRACTORIES Ltd 20 Aug 1970 [25 Aug 1969] 42147/69 Addition to 1175562 Heading F2P [Also in Division F4] Stock undergoing treatment in a reheat furnace rests on a pipe support as disclosed in Specification 1,175,562 in which the outer blocks are of H-shape, the recesses 6, 10, defined by the end limbs 3 and web 1 receiving one limb each of two adjacent blocks interlocked by tongue 4 and groove 8 joints, said recesses having a width at least half the width of the block measured on the same transverse line plus an allowance for the sliding reception of said adjacent blocks. The inner faces 5 and 9 of the recesses converge each with a gradient ratio of 1 : 8. The blocks are assembled in circumferential rings, the blocks of adjacent rings being relatively staggered and interengaged longitudinally by adjacent blocks in one limb located conjointly in opposed recesses of blocks in the other ring.
