1339295 Calibrating Piezo-electric films KUREHA KAGAKU KOGYO K K 24 Sept 1971 [26 Sept 1970] 44744/71 Heading G1N [Also in Divisions B5 and H1] The Piezo-electric constant d 31 of a prepared polyvinylidene fluoride film (see Division H1) is measured using the apparatus of Fig.2. The film 2, provided with electrodes 4, is stretched by a vibrator 1 operating at 15 c/s, and the stress measured by gauge 3. The generated A.C. voltage is transmitted through amplifiers 5, 6 and active filter 7 to an A.C. voltmeter 8.
