Abstract

1353641 Prefabricated room units A FELDMAN and R FELDMAN 30 April 1971 [1 May 1970 16 Feb 1971] 12316/71 Heading E1A A room unit having a floor, ceiling and two opposite walls, comprises a framework covered internally by a wire mesh layer embedded in cementitious material. The frame is formed by vertical and horizontal steel beams to the inner sides of which are tied successive layers of wire mesh 13, rods 14 and wire mesh 15 which are then embedded. Alternatively the beams are formed by groups of rods (Fig. 16), the floor and ceiling rods being located in grooves in a mesh layer whilst the groups of wall rods 310 have mesh casings.- The rods 310 of vertical wall beams 322 are connected to the floor and ceiling rods in the grooves and to rods 339, 311 and channels 325, 360 of top and bottom beams 324, 321. The groups of rods and the floor and ceiling are embedded in cementitious material. An interior layer of mesh is provided on wall ceiling and floor and embedded.
