1371559 Gas purification towers HEINRICH KOPPERS GmbH 18 Oct 1972 [23 Nov 1971] 47997/72 Heading B1L In gas purification towers in which the absorbent material is contained in exchangable baskets, the baskets are handled by an expanding rigid rib assembly extending from a central hollow pillar 2 which ribs 3 have pivoted basket-engaging means 4 connected by a lockable link 12 to a load support 15 which is vertically displaceable relative to the pillar. The ribs can be locked by member 7 which has basket engaging and releasing positions related to the position of the basket in the tower.
