Abstract
1375084 Rotary positive-displacement pumps ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 23 Aug 1972 [24 Aug 1971] 39268/72 Heading F1F [Also in Division H2] In an electric motor fluid feed pump, the motor armature 19 and the pump impeller 10 are coaxially mounted on bushes 23, 15 for rotation about a fixed shaft 5 in a housing 1, and the fluid which passes through the housing lubricates the bearing surfaces of the bushes and also cools the armature. In operation, fluid is drawn through an inlet 3 and bore 13 into a chamber 7 formed by three plates 4, 6, 8, and leaves via further bores 14, 14′ and an outlet 35. In the arrangement shown, the armature 19 and a commutator 24 are extrusion coated with plastics material in a single mould, and the stator magnets 25, the holders for the brushes 30 and the holders for anti-interference coils 41 are all mounted in a single plastics structure 27. A magnetic conductive tube 29 surrounds the magnets 25.
