1383875 Cleaning vehicle headlamp glasses SWF-SPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU GmbH 14 Sept 1973 [2 Oct 1972] 43264/73 Heading A4F In a vehicle headlamp washing installation washing liquid is supplied alternately via nozzles to one of each of two headlamp glasses, through a changeover valve, the changeover mechanism of which is operated by a drive-shaft of a pump motor. In the described embodiment the changeover valve has an inlet 29 and two outlets 31 Fig. 2 (not shown) and 32, flow to each outlet being controlled by one of two valve members 25, which are opened alternately by a cam 21 on a plate 20 rotated by a pump motor shaft 10 via reduction gearing. Alternatively the changeover valve may he electromagnetically controlled by means actuated by the pump drive shaft.
