Abstract

1389335 Electrical installations SUMITOMO ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES Ltd 30 May 1972 [12 June 1971] 25277/72 Heading H2C An inductive radiotransmission line comprises at least two transmission pairs 1, 2 with a succession of crossover transpositions at, e.g. 4, 5, with equal transposition distance P, but at different locations for each transmission pair. Conductor supports 3 are located between crossing points 4, 5 at intervals P/2 and comprises a pair of metal frames 6 having a channel portion in which is placed an insulator spacer 7 of synthetic material, e.g. polyethylene, have parallel grooves which support conductors 11, 12, 111, 121. The frames 6 are joined by portion 9 which is supported by rod 10 and maintained at ground potential. In a further embodiment, (Fig. 4, not shown), the frame (6) completely encloses the conductors of the two wire lines. In another embodiment (Fig. 5, not shown), the metal frame has several parallel grooves (13) and each conductor is individually insulated.
