Abstract
1392407 Releasable fastenings ANTARGAZ SA DE DISTRIBUTION DE GAZ LIQUIDES DE PETROLE 16 March 1973 12835/73 Heading E2B [Also in Divisions F2 and F4] In a coupling device for a pressurized gas cartridge, having a peripheral bead B surrounding its gas outlet valve, a sleeve 10 is resiliently urged to a position in which its radial grippers 10b are backed by body 9 and thereby held in locking relationship with bead B. Handle 14 may be used as a lever (the flange 15 constituting a fulcrum) to displace sleeve 10 against the action of compression spring 11, thus allowing grippers 10b to move radially inwardly and release bead B. The sleeve 10 may be of P.T.F.E. The coupler may support a gas cartridge (C Fig 1, not shown) beneath the support frame of a camping gas stove base.
