Abstract
To treat liquid manure for the purpose of eliminating odours, the liquid manure is enriched with oxygen by an aerator (1) in a storage container (e). This enriched liquid manure is conveyed by a pump (f) by way of a delivery line (g) into the stable into a flushing channel (a). The storage container (e) is thus located directly in the liquid-manure circuit generated by the pump (f). The accumulated animal excrements are also washed out in the flushing channel (a). At the end of the flushing channel (a), a retaining sluice (b) ensures that a sliding bed of liquid is maintained. The retained liquid at the same time picks up the substances which have occurred freshly there and which sink in it and prevent a further emission of odours into the stable. The stable air is thereby improved substantially.
