1479959 Magnetite articles HOGANAS AB 12 Sept 1974 [26 Sept 1973] 39878/74 Heading ClA [Also in Division B5] A magnetite article is produced by hot pressing a preform of magnetite powder at 900-1300 C., either by isostatic compression or in a pressing tool. The preform may be produced by cold compaction of a mixture of magnetite powder and a temporary binder such as dextrin, or by filling a metal can with the powder.
