Abstract

1486917 Cellulose membranes HOECHST AG 10 Dec 1974 [10 Dec 1973] 53322/74 Heading B5B A sheet of cellulose acetate is treated with an aqueous solution of a di- or polyhydric alcohol containing 2-4C for 2-10 minutes at 50-110 C. then drying the sheet at a temperature not exceeding 50 C. The aqueous solution preferably contains 20-35% alcohol, preferably glycerol.
