1488055 Lifting soil-working implements C STARK and R STARK 23 July 1975 30726/75 Heading A1B A tractor drawn implement, e.g. a harrow, is lifted by operating at least one servomotor 8, such that the central girder 5 remains parallel to the ground, from a working position, in which skids 27 and soil-working tools engage the ground, through intermediate positions to a transport position (Fig. 2) with rear wheel(s) 1 on the ground and linkwork e.g. 11, 13. 12, 15 between girder 5 and a towbar 9 supporting the forward end of the implement. The arrangement of lifting equipment can be varied, e.g. as shown in Fig. 4; or, with servomotor 8 between a bracket on girder 5. and control arm 3, either link rod 11 may be connected between link arm 23 and lever 12, 13; or a second servomotor may be connected between brackets on girder 5 and towbar 9 respectively. Part of the linkwork may be provided below girder 5 and wheel 1 may be mounted on a forwardly directed support arm 2.
