Abstract

1506207 Reactive dye solutions HOECHST AG 9 April 1975 [9 April 1974 (4)] 14632/75 Heading D1B Aqueous dyeing preparations contain 5- 35% by weight of one or more fibrereactive dyestuffs of formula (I) where F is the radical of an anthraquinone, azo or phthalocyanine dyestuff in which the azo or phthalocyanine dyestuff may be in the form of the Cu, Cr, Co, Ni or Fe complex; m is 2 or more; n is 1-3 and Z, or each Z is a fibre-reactive group; together with one or more substances which have a buffering effect on the preparation and do not react chemically with the reactive group(s) and have a pH of 3-7, provided that (I) does not contain an -NHCO- pyrimidinyl group containing one or more reactive halogen atoms. The preferred preparations contain 15-30% dyestuff and 1-5% buffer substance with a pH of 5.5-6.8; buffer substances preferred are sodium or potassium acetate or oxalate, acid sodium or potassium phosphoric acid salts and sodium borate particularly sodium dihydrogen phosphate disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium borite. The preparations are used for dyeing or printing fibrous materials made of wool silk, synthetic polyamide or natural or regenerated cellulose.
