Abstract
1528582 Folding trolleys A A BARNETT 27 Aug 1976 [29 Aug 1975] 35807/75 Heading B7B In a folding trolley particularly for fishing wherein wheels 3, Fig. 1, are rotatably supported on resilient V-shaped support members 4 which are pivotally connected to the platform 1 by means of pin and socket connections 7, 9, links 10 pivoted at one end to a respective support member 4 have slots 11 which slidably engage with a threaded pin 12, Fig. 5, projecting from a bracket 21 welded to the platform 1. Each slot 13 has a return portion 15a which engages with the pin 12 for latching the wheels in an unfolded position for trolley movement. A knob 15 is tightened to maintain the links and hence the wheels in a selected folded or unfolded position. A U-shaped handle 17 hinged to channel members fixed to the ends of side members 6 of the platform 1 may be held in an erected position by sliding rings which engage over the ends of the handle and channel members. The trolley is further provided with an L-shaped leg 19 which is pivoted to the bracket 21 and held in the support position as shown or in an upward retracted position by a screw knob 20. The knob 20 engages a slot in an end of the leg 19 and screws into the bracket 21.
