1528781 Child restraint system BRITAX (WINGARD) Ltd 23 July 1976 [5 Aug 1975] 32689/75 Heading A3V [Also in Division A4] A child restraint system comprises a childs seat 1 and a restraint pad 4 in use fitting around the childs thighs and abdomen and held in place by a seat belt 5 fitting in a groove 6 and attached to the vehicle seat 7, the back and seat portions of the childs seat being recessed to receive the restraint pad. Wing portions 8 may be provided on the seat. The restraint pad could be used without the seat.
