Abstract

1528829 Terpolymers CESKOSLOVENSKA AKADEMIE VED 15 July 1976 29494/76 Heading C3P [Also in Division B1] A macroporous terpolymer is produced from 1À19 to 31À6% by weight of a hydroxyalkyl acrylate or methacrylate wherein the hydroxy. alkyl group contains 1 to 6 carbon atoms, 8À39 to 21À95% of a C 1 to C 18 -alkyl acrylate or methacrylate or an alkoxyalkyl acrylate or methacrylate and at least 60% of an alkylene diacrylate or dimethacrylate wherein the alkylene radical contains 1 to 6 carbon atoms. Examples are given of the production of terpolymers from (a) 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, methyl or octadecyl methacrylate and ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate; (b) 2 – hydroxyethyl methacrylate, 2 – ethylhexyl methacrylate and hexamethylenediol dimethacrylate and (c) 2- hydroxyethyl acrylate, 2-butoxyethylacrylate and hexamethylenediol dimethacrylate.
