Abstract
10,596. Behr, R. May 14, 1912, [Convention date]. Actuating; plug cocks.-A plug cock of the type adapted to be actuated by the act of coupling or uncoupling an outlet or pipe connexion is provided with means for locking the plug in the closed position, and with an adjustable bayonet-joint. The plug 2 is provided with an angular passage 8 adapted to co-operate with a passage 10 in the casing and with a recess 3 adapted to be engaged by a spring bolt 5, which is withdrawn by inserting the coupling-member. The outlet 7 has actuating- handles 13 and is provided with a tapered part 11 having an angular passage 9 adapted to co-operate with the passage 10 and with recesses 6 which engage with pins 4 on the plug. The coupling-member has wings 15, provided with adjusting-screws 16 adapted to engage a bayonetsocket formed in a cap 12 adjustably secured to the casing by studs 17.
