Date Sep. 21, 1995A process of making a fiber-reinforced polymeric material comprises sliding a fiber bundle over an arcuate support surface (2) in the line of the arc, and injecting into the bundle a molten or liquid polymer through a plurality of slots (4) in the surface, each slot being transverse to the bundle. The process allows effective impregnation of materials, at relatively high production speed and low capital costs.
