Abstract
The low-temperature ductility properties of niobium alloy containing tungsten and/or molybdenum are improved while still retaining structural stability and strength at high temperatures by heating the alloy to within the range 982 DEG C. to 1538 DEG C. and reducing the cross-sectional area of the heated alloy by plastic deformation. Examples of the alloy may include some or all of the following elements, percentages being by weight:-
