1,107,674. Intake pipes; heating charge. ATELIERS DE LA MOTOBECANE. July 20, 1966 [July 22, 1965], No. 32622/66. Heading F1B. An intake pipe 10 for a single-cylinder two stroke engine is secured to the inlet port at 11 and is in thermal contact with the cylinder at a second point 16. The intake pipe flange 11 is extended to embrace the exhaust port (5), Fig. 3 (not shown) to provide heating of the pipe adjacent the intake port (4), and the pipe is secured to the cylinder at the port 16 by a bracket 17 bolted to a block (18) Fig. 4 integral with the cooling fins.
