[Also in Division H1] An accumulator cell terminal post is formed of an electrolyte-resistant metal and surrounds, and makes electrical and physical connection with, the bared end of a cable, the post having a recess surrounding the cable at the point where it enters the post, which recess is filled with an electrolyte-resistant moulding compound which adheres to the post metal and to the insulating covering, which surrounds the cable inside the recess and outside the post.
