1,205,087. Circuit assemblies. MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO. Ltd. 12 Nov., 1968 [25 Nov., 1967], No. 53691/68. Heading H1R. [Also in Division H3] A distributed amplifier has transmission lines (L B , L c , Fig. 1, not shown) formed by a zig-zag pattern of conductive material 1, 2, Fig. 3. The lines are formed by printing, vapour deposition or etching, on an insulating board having the components of the amplifier mounted thereon and the circuit interconnections printed thereon. Terminal resistors 7, 8 are mounted on the side of the board carrying the printed circuit, which includes the connection pads c, b, e for the transistor electrodes and their associated components, and also the input and output terminals 5, 6; the voltage source conductors 3, 4 also being indicated. The inductances of the sections of the lines are related to the dimensions of the zig-zag pattern by a given formula.
