1,205,088. Fluidic logic elements. C. BURKERT. 18 Nov., 1968 [22 Nov., 1967], No. 54665/68. Heading G4P. An arrangement of pneumatic logic elements 5, e.g. for AND, OR, NEGATION, IDENTITY, STORAGE, FLIP-FLOP functions are fixed by clips or screws (not shown) and elastic seals 6 to a mounting plate 2 of, e.g., plastic material screwed to a casing I in turn screwed to a mounting. A hood 7 of, e.g., transparent plastic covers the elements 5 and is perforated with air vents 8 overlying a silencing and filtration plate 9. The mounting plate 2 is fitted on its underside with insertion hose nipples 10 and coned bores 11 into which elastic hoses can be pressed. When a circuit interconnection has been established for production, the hose nipples are replaced by coned bores fitted with permanent connections and the space beneath plate 2 is filled with cold-setting (or thermosetting) casting or press moulding resin to secure the connections, and input and output hose nipple connections on connection plates 13 are screwed on top of mounting plate 2. Plural units are disposable adjacently with interconnections through top hose nipples 10 or side bores (Fig. 2, not shown). Bores in plate 2 may be fabricated blind and perforated where necessary.
