Abstract
1,205,295. Acoustic laminates. RICHARD GRAEFE Ltd. 28 Aug., 1969 [31 Aug., 1968], No. 41703/68. Heading B5N. An acoustic laminate comprises a sheet having sound-absorbing chambers A, the entrances of which are covered by a panel having slots for access to said chambers. The panel may be adhesively united to the sheet at coplanar portions 2. As shown, sound-exit chambers B are provided on the other side of the sheet, and an apertured panel may be adhered at portions 4 to cover these. Apertures connecting chambers A and B may be provided in walls 1. The centre sheet may be of paper pulp or mineral wool, and the facing panels may be hardboard.
