1,252,063. Transistor blocking oscillator circuits. ATES COMPONENTI ELETTRONICI S.p.A. 19 March, 1969 [5 April, 1968], No. 14362/69. Heading H3T. [Also in Division H2] A D.C.-D.C. converter, for a photoflash tube, comprises a blocking oscillator utilizing a Darlington pair of transistors T1, T2 having feedback viawindings N1, N2 of a transformer and a diode D poled to rectify the output from winding N3 when the transistors are non-conductive. Capacitors C1, C2 reduce the transistor switching time. Inductor L prevents saturation of T2 when T1 is saturated. Resistor R prevents spurious oscillation due to stray L and C in the transformer.
