Abstract
1297012 Photographic cameras AGFAGEVAERT AG 27 Jan 1970 [6 Feb 1969] 3925/70 Heading G2A A photographic camera having a meterless electronic shutter speed control which controls exposure time in accordance with prevailing illumination has a lamp 2 the light output of which varies with the expected exposure time, as indicated on a scale 4, located for viewing adjacent a light alternating element 3 such as a wedge. A light conducting bar 1 is provided within a view finder (not shown), and adjacent the lamp 2. The scale 4, calibrated with exposure times, is illuminated by means of a lamp 5. A photo-resistor 10 is connected through a switch 8, 9 to the lamp 2 or a trigger circuit which operates the camera shutter (not shown) through a relay in accordance with the prevailing illumination detected by photo-resistor 10. A brightness band is visible on the wedge dependent on the brightness of the lamp 2, the border of the band between light and dark indicating the expected exposure time. In a modification, Fig.3 (not shown) a glass plate (23) provided with interference layers is used in place of the wedge. The plate is positioned adjacent a lamp (26) and light conducting bar 25 to illuminate one side of the plate at constant intensity so that at the region where the lamp (26) is of greater intensity than lamp (2) a different colour is seen than where the intensity of lamp (2) exceeds lamp (26).
