1297563 Image pick-up tubes LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS GmbH 13 Feb 1970 [15 Feb 1969] 7009/70 Heading H1D An image pick-up tube comprises means for converting an image into an electron image which is accelerated to a charge storage screen in the form of a semi-conductor provided with an array of diodes which is scanned by a lowvelocity beam. In Fig. 2 electrons from a photocathode 3 pass to a channel multiplier 12, the output of which is accelerated to the N-type silicon substrate of a target 6 provided on its opposite surface with P-type regions.
