Abstract
1318599 Releasable fastenings CEAG CONCORDIA ELEKTRIZITATS AG 19 Oct 1970 [24 Oct 1969] 49592/70 Heading E2A [Also in Division F4] A device locking together the housing and cover of an elongated lamp comprises, in the housing 1, a locking bar 4 provided with slanting slots 41 in which guide bolts 5 provided on the housing engage, the locking bar being movable from outside the housing by an eccentric bolt simultaneously laterally and up and down along said guide bolts such that a set of L-shaped notches on the lower portion of the locking bar can engage projections 21 of the cover 2 for locking or release them for unlocking. The housing and cover are hinged together by hinges 22 along the side opposite the locking bar. Sealing of the housing and cover is provided by packing 3. The eccentric bolt also serves to support a guard cage 7 which is released by turning the bolt to a lesser extent than is required to release the cover.
