1359984 Forming oriented styrene copolymer articles PHILLIPS PETROLEUM CO 27 Aug 1971 [14 Jan 1971] 41121/73 Divided out of 1359663 Heading C3P [Also in Division B5] A method of moulding bottles and other hollow articles comprises biaxially expanding a tubular preform of a thermoplastic material at 40 to 200‹ F. below its homogeneous melt temperature to achieve longitudinal and circumferential orientation, the material being a copolymer of 60 to 90% styrene and the remainder acrylonitrile.
