Abstract
1375263 Cabinets ALEX LINDER GmbH 10 April 1972 [15 April 1971 7 May 1971] 16432/72 Heading A4B A cabinet with a top wall, bottom wall 2 and side walls 1 includes a transverse wall 4 or 25 having peripheral dimensions just sufficiently smaller than the corresponding dimensions of the space defined within the other walls which latter have no projections extending inwardly into said space whereby the transverse wall may be inserted through the open front of the cabinet and releasably secured therein. Doors 3 may be provided. In one embodiment, Fig. 1, the transverse wall 4 comprises a back wall and is secured by a wedging strip 14 to bear against a peripheral ledge 11. In another embodiment, Fig. 2, the cabinet is fitted with a back plate 21 and the transverse wall 25 is fitted with a resilient, peripheral sealing strip 27. The space between the plate 21 and wall 25 is filled with sound absorbing material, e.g. rock wool. In a modification the transverse wall is fitted centrally of the cabinet and doors are fitted at both the front and rear. The cabinet includes fitments Figs. 3, 4 (not shown) for engaging the floor and ceiling of a room in which the cabinet is mounted, the fitments providing a height adjustment to compensate for unevenness of the floor and/or ceiling.
