1414631 Electro-phoretic phosphor deposition A W STANDAART 24 Oct 1972 [29 Oct 1971] 48881/72 Heading C7B [Also in Division H1] An electrolyte composition containing suspended phosphors, for use in a process of electrophoretic deposition of the phosphor particles on the faceplate of a colour cathode ray tube (see Division H1) comprises 1 to 10% by volume of deionized water, 90 to 99% by volume of a liquid medium selected from the C 1 to C 5 alcohols, acetone, and trichloroethylene, together with an ionizable material for importing both conductivity to the mixture, and a charge to the suspended phosphor particles to prevent flocculation.
