1442312 Display device H W MACKRILL 31 Oct 1973 [13 Nov 1972] 52220/72 Heading A4T A display device for flat articles, e.g. cards or envelopes comprises a background panel member 10 of card-like material provided with at least one series of article support members, e.g. tabs 14 formed by slits 12, and at least one series of article retaining members, e.g. tabs 18 formed by slits 16, each of which overlaps the lateral projection of at least one other member of the series and which members are of tapering form and all except an endmost one of said members are arranged each one partly within at least one other so that articles of differing sizes may be held. The panel member 10 may be of card, thin cardboard, thin synthetic plastics sheet or aluminium foil. It may have an apertured tab 22 for suspension and a horizontal slit 20 adjacent its lower end for receiving an upper tab 18 of an identical panel member. The panel member may have creases between its edges and certain of the tabs 18 to permit it to be folded the location of the creases being such that in the folded condition the projecting tabs 18 in line with the creases are not themselves folded, but are protected from damage by the extremities of the panel member extending beyond them.
