Abstract
1459891 Reinforced concrete pile L WAHMAN 20 May 1974 [21 May 1973] 22369/74 Heading E1H A reinforced concrete pile 1 has a collar 5 at one of its ends for connection with another pile or with a shoe, to which collar axially extending reinforcing bars 2 are attached. The collar is provided with threaded bores 9 corresponding to the number of reinforcing bars within the pile. An externally threaded connector 4 is screwed into each bore and has a bore 15 with internal threads 11 for the reception of the externally threaded end 3 of a reinforcing bar. The connector is rotated by turning non-circular intermediate part 14.
