Abstract
1487630 Lighting fittings BERKEY PHOTO Inc 23 March 1976 [24 July 1975] 30962/75 Heading F4R A luminaire incorporating a Fresnel spot-light and a studio flood-light arranged in back-toback fashion for alternative use is rendered more compact in the optic axis direction in that all or part of a main reflector 7 at the floodlight part may be deflected as the lamp carriage 3 of the spot-light part is racked back. In one arrangement, as shown, the main reflector 7 is pivotally mounted and biased by a spring 12. In another arrangement a panel in the reflector is mounted on the lamp carriage to move therewith (Fig. 4, not shown). The flood-light part has a linear source 9, a primary mirror 8 mounted on a hinged lamp tray 10 for ease of access and a diffuser 6.
