Abstract

1516513 Fluid regulation HYDROTECH INTERNATIONAL Inc 23 May 1975 [1 July 1974] 22953/75 Heading G3H A choke for fluids, especially for controlling the flow of natural gas from a well-head tap (6), Fig. 1 (not shown), to a reservoir, comprises at least two choke orifices 18, Fig. 3, arranged so that the fluid streams discharging therefrom impinge against one another, whereby any tendency for a freezable component of the fluid-flow to solidify is reduced. The inserts 22 defining the orifices and the body member in which they are removably screwed, may be of tungsten carbide. In another embodiment, Fig. 4 (not shown), there are four choke orifices (18).
