1516522 Dispensing articles FOCKE & PFUHL 21 May 1975 [11 June 1974] 51889/77 Divided out of 1516521 Heading B8U An apparatus for feeding groups of rod like articles, e.g. cigarettes, into the pockets 20 of a pair of conveyers, 18, 19, comprises a magazine 13 including a plurality of shoots 15 for arranging the articles in groups, and a reciprocable pusher 74 for ejecting the groups alternately from opposite sides of the magazine into the pockets of respective ones of the conveyers 18, 19. The pusher comprises a plurality of fingers 77 and the groups of articles are fed from the magazine to the conveyer pockets through guides (70, 71) Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown) interposed between the magazine and conveyers.
