1517089 Sound insulation GENERAL MOTORS CORP 10 Nov 1976 [14 Nov 1975] 46751/76 Heading F2X [Also in Division B7] A sound-absorbing tyre splash guard has a sound-absorbing structure 34, 36, 38 with a face panel 32 overlying one of its opposed surfaces to deflect particles and permit sound passage whilst a dense back panel 40 overlies its other surface forming a barrier to sound not absorbed by the structure.
