Abstract
1525314 Invalid chairs VALUTEC AG 3 June 1976 [3 June 1975] 22965/76 Heading A4J In a collapsible wheel chair provided with pivotally inter-connected back, seat and footrest 32, 27 and 45, the pivotal axis between the seat and back is above the seat such that substantially no relative motion takes place between an occupant and the seat and back when the back seat and footrest are moved from a sitting position to a raised position to help an invalid to stand. Movement is effected by rotation of a pinion 65 which engages a rack 61 fixed to the seat. The foot rest may be detachably secured to the chair frame and comprises a foot support 55 adjustable along a tubular member 45.
