Abstract

1,078,885. Pure fluid amplifier. BENDIX CORPORATION. May 4, 1966 [May 25, 1965], No. 19731/66. Heading G3H. A fluid vortex device comprises a housing 10 having an inlet 14 and outlet 16 and a member 18 arranged in the housing to form an annular chamber 32 between the inlet and outlet. The member 18 has a fluid control signal inlet 24 having outlets opening into the annular chamber whereby flow from the signal inlet imparts a rotational flow to the fluid flowing to the outlet. The control signal flow may be provided through passages in the housing 10.
