1,117,582. Aircraft engines and tail mountings. H. HERTEL. 17 Feb., 1966 [15 July, 1965], No. 7081/66. Headings B7G and B7W. A spar extends rearwardly from the rear-end of an aircraft fuselage, and carries the tail and a plurality of engines. Two jet propulsion engines 1 may be arranged one on each side of the spar 2 or more than two may be arranged on individual struts arranged in star formation (Fig. 5, not shown).
